Tolu Ajewole and Babajide Owosakin, both Computer Engineering graduates of the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife have launched a mobile news platform calledNewspepa.The Newspepa app discovers and aggregates top news from various popular news outlets in one place, making them easily accessible by users.
The Newspepa app uses a customized software algorithm to discover, aggregate and rank important news stories for the reading delight of users.The app features top news stories from Punch, Vanguard, NigerianMonitor, Daily Post and a host of other popular news sources such as entertainment siteLinda Ikejiand Complete Sports.
The Newspepa app was developed by the graduates because of the need to properly organize and disseminate the humongous amount of news information for Nigerians.
