Facebook introduces new Ads unit for its Audience network

Yesterday, Facebookannouncedthat it’s bringing auto-play video ads to the audience network, a new format for publishers to monetizetheir apps
.According to the social media giant, publishers using its best-performing native ad units should expect 7x improved performance than their traditional banner ads.
Aside auto-play videos, multiple image carousel ads, dynamic product ads that now surfaces ads showing products they themselves designed relating to something a user looked at, and nativeClick-to-Play video ads are part of the new performing units opened by Facebook.

Brett Vogel, Facebook’s Product Marketing Manager in a statement toTechCrunchsaid access to the slick auto-playing video ads was “the number one thing” publishers were asking for.
The new formats will now make easier for eligible partners make more money from its Audience Network share.
