New Chairman/CEO of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, LASTMA, Mr. Christian Olakpe, has declared that he will soon become the enemy of traffic offenders in Lagos with the way the parastatal will be working henceforth.
Olakpe, who had been invited to the House to x-ray the constant traffic gridlock in the state, told the lawmakers, yesterday, that he would re-invigorate LASTMA in three months.
The retired AIG stated that he was not new to Lagos as he said that he was born there, adding that there would be no waivers in the enforcement of traffic laws in the state under his leadership.
He said further that there would be strict compliance with the traffic laws in the state, addingthat he has even warned his friends and relatives not to call him over any erring motorist, while promising to deal with deviant LASTMA officials.
